Record exit clause: Pedri extends at the FC Barcelona

Zarte 16 years young was Pedri when FC Barcelona committed him to 20 million euros from UD Las Palmas in September 2019. And even if the Catalans had a massive issue problem in recent years: today each has this transfer fee for perfectly justified.

Pedri, who will become one of the faces of the new barça in November 19, he is already available. Now he has also signed a corresponding contract. The midfielder whose previous working paper had expired at the end of the season extended until 2026 and writes history.

The agreed exit clause is one billion euros and is therefore the highest in Barça s club history. Even Lionel Messis had last only at 700 million euros.
