Epic would be considering making a Fortnite movie

Fortnite is a videogame of the year 2017 developed by the company Epic Games, released as different software packages that present different game modes, but that share the same game engine and mechanics. He was announced at the Spike Video Game Awards in 2011. The game modes published in 2017 include Fortnite Battle Royale, a free game where up to one hundred players struggle on an island, in smaller and smaller spaces due to the storm, to be the last person or team standing, and fortnite: save the World, a cooperative game of up to four players who consists of fighting against housings, creatures similar to zombies, using objects, improvements and fortifications. Both game modes were launched in 2017 as anticipated access titles. Save the world is available only for Windows, Macos, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, while Battle Royale has also been published for Nintendo Switch, IOS devices and for Android. In August 2020, the game was removed from the App Store and Play Store stores for violating their standards, although it is still available at the Epic Games Store store as well as at the Galaxy Store.

This same report points out that EPIC is working on building a new division within the company, which would be dedicated to series and films.
